I return from my travels to Boston & New York with only more questions. This sign was found in the window of a beauty salon in the flip section of Woodside, Queens. Can someone please explain what is “armpit whitening”? I guess I can imagine what it is…and that people like to lighten their skin…and it’s not as horrific as getting surgically-enhanced eyelid creases but, well, ew. Like, won’t tweezing do the job? Hopefully my imagination is much worse than whatever this is

i guess you’ve never had to tweeze unlike your darker-haired sistahs.
i actually fell for this crap and went to get my armpits whitened and guess what i was fucking duped by this vietnamese parlor that makes such a bold statement…she says……results will be visible in 5 min and i have already been there couple of times …and that shit ain’t working at all…i paid in full in my first treatment but after couple of them i knew it ain’t working so i just let them eat my money…….this shit is crap.
haha well some people people have a problem with their armpits looking darker than the rest of their body, you can still see where the hairs grow because they are so dark! even if youve shaved your armpit completely.
