The people involved in this crime all seriously, seriously suck.
To summarize:
1) Teens stole a woman’s motorized wheelchair and used it for a joy-ride.
2) Some dude ended up with it who then swapped it for some cigarettes to another guy.
3) This other guy then sold the wheelchair to someone for $165. When he heard on the news that it had been stolen, he went back and got the chair and then DUMPED IN A DITCH FULL OF WATER. Thus, completely ruining a wheelchair that was worth more than $5000.
Where’s my jerk-hittin’ stick when I need it, eh? You kids…get off my lawn!
